Dennis Robinson

Mr. Dennis Robinson, age 81, husband of Martha West Robinson, of 621 Jonesville Lockhart Hwy., Jonesville, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Robinson was born December 12, 1944, in Woodruff, a son of the late Essie Robinson and Evelyn White Robinson. For several years he worked in the grocery business as a manager with Community Cash and later as owner of Peoples Grocery in Jonesville. Following his career in groceries, Mr. Robinson worked as a foreman with the SCDOT, from which he retired. He was a 1963 graduate of Jonesville High School and a member of Jonesville United Methodist Church. Mr. Robinson was a member of the Prudence Masonic Lodge 139 of Jonesville, a Shriner and a former JC. He loved to work in his garden, but most of all he loved his family.

In addition to his wife. Martha, Mr. Robinson is survived by a daughter, Melissa Mitchell and her husband, Lynn, and a son, Trad Robinson and his wife, Nikki, all of Jonesville. He is also survived by grandchildren, Rob Mitchell, Anna Parks (Trey), Westley Robinson and Jacob Robinson, a brother, Phil Robinson, an aunt, Patty Hoyle and a sister-in-law, Patricia Robinson. Mr. Robinson was predeceased by a brother, Harold Robinson, and sisters, Peggy Scoggins and Brenda Dillard.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 24, 2026 at the Bogansville Methodist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Ed Traxler. Masonic Rites will follow.

The family is at the home of his daughter and her husband, Melissa Mitchell and Lynn, 106 Peach Shed Rd., Jonesville, SC.
