Dianne Knox

September 12, 2015 Mrs. Dianne P. Knox, age 70, wife of Tommy F. Knox of 184 Browns Creek Church Rd., Union, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Union Medical Center. Mrs. Knox was born in Union, SC on March 4, 1945 a daughter of the late Joe W. Prince and Annie D. Morrow Prince. She was retired from Knox Tire and Appliance Company. Mrs. Knox was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Melinda K. Littlejohn and husband Jeff and a son, Tommy F. Knox, II and wife Jennie all of Union; three grandchildren: Lee Littlejohn and wife Tiffany, Miranda Littlejohn and Tate Knox and wife Mallerie all of Union; a great-granddaughter, Kylie Knox of Union. Mrs. Knox was predeceased by two sisters, Joann Jones and Tannis Dover and one brother, Chris Prince. Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Mon Aetna Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Robert Cato and Rev. Benny Green. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be William Jolly, Howard Wells, Boyd McAbee, Robbie Littlejohn, Francis Ellis and Cole Ferrell. The following friends are asked to sit in a group at the church, Ruth Crayne, Martha Jolly, Wanda Wells, Lib Vanderford, Sally Horne, Tennie McAbee and Tonya Proctor. The following are asked to assemble at 1:45 PM to form the honorary escort, David Hortacher, Will Horlacher, Bruce Whisnant, Bruce Inman, Randy George, Joe Kelly, Bruce Calvin Smith and Kenny Proctor. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
