Dianne P. Johnson

December 23, 2015 Mrs. Dianne Poole Johnson, age 68, wife of Jimmy R. Johnson of 325 Riley Rd., Buffalo went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Mrs. Johnson was born in Union, July 13, 1947, a daughter of the late Lewis and Sarah Wix Poole. She was a graduate of Union High School and was retired from the textile industry. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Pamela Ray and husband Andy of Union; a son, Ernell Johnson and wife Sherry of Buffalo; a brother, Phillip Poole of Buffalo; cousin, Joan Huskey of Buffalo; five grandchildren, Jonathan Ray, Katie Ray, Jimmy Johnson, Charles Johnson and Anna Johnson; a great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Ray and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by a brother, Mack Poole. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Johnny Burgess. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, Charles Johnson, Phil Poole, Doug Johnson, Ken Ward and Neal Elliott. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 1:45 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the services. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Heartland of Union for their care and concern of Mrs. Johnson during her stay. Memorials may be made to Buffalo Baptist Church, P.O.
