Dolton L. Williams

Mr. Dolton Lewis Williams, age 80, husband of Alice Knox Williams of 621 Fairview Church Circle, Union, SC, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Williams was born in Gaffney, November 14, 1943, a son of the late Adolphus and Emma Alverson Williams. He was a graduate of Union High School and retired from AT&T as a lineman. Mr. Williams was a member of Beulah Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Angie Fisher of Gaffney, Allyson Williams and Ashley Ocampo both of Union; two sons, Dolton Lewis Williams, II and wife Jenny and Robin Williams all of Union; sister, Eva Smith and a brother, John C. Williams and wife Donna all of Union. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Martha Irving and brothers, Marion Williams, Tom Williams, and Joe Williams.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to the staff and nurses of Crescent Hospice for the care and compassion given to Mr. Williams during his illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Beulah Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Bill Randall and Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the services.

The family will be at the home of his son, Dolton and Jenny Williams, 307 Brookside Dr., Union.
