Donald “Don” Adams

August 22, 2019 Mr. Donald "Don" Adams, age 74, widower of Susan Dianne Smith Adams, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Heartland of Union. Mr. Adams was born November 30, 1945 in North Carolina. He was retired from Milliken & Co.-Cedar Hill Plant and had previously worked with Special Needs children and adults. Mr. Adams was a member of Padgett's Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are a stepson, Matthew Wilson of Union; a stepdaughter, Dianne Stebbins of Florida; and two grandchildren, Taylor Johnson and Tristen Johnson both of Florida. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Padgett's Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Carrol Caldwell. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the church.
