Donald Earl Beheler, Sr.

Mr. Donald Earl Beheler, Sr., age 77, husband of Barbara Jean Turner Beheler, of 211 Carem Rd., Union, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mr. Beheler was born October 3, 1939 in Union, SC he was reared in the home of his late grandmother, Nellie Beheler and mother, Alice B. O'Shields. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a retired textile worker. Mr. Beheler was a member of Welcome Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are five daughters, Tammy Crawford and husband Frank of Union, Donna, Hubbard of Laurens, Sherry Beheler of Laurens, Toni White of Kings Mountain, NC and Sandy Delany of Buffalo; five sons, Justin Beheler of the home, Dustin Scruggs of the home; Kenneth Scruggs and wife Lisa of Gaffney; Donald Earl Beheler, Jr. and wife Robin of Union; and Timothy Beheler of Laurens; two sisters, Nellie Babb Cartee and Eliza Bright both of Union; two brothers, Leonard Lunsford and Frankie Lunsford both of Union; fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2016 at Welcome Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Robert Jarvis and Rev. Buddy Hogan. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Active pallbearers will be Josh Berry, Harvey Buchanan, Randy Davis, David Berry, David Varner, Jr., and Sandy Loyd.
