Donald Bruce Betenbaugh

Mr. Donald Bruce Betenbaugh, age 84, husband of Linda Wells Betenbaugh of 2134 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at his home.

Mr. Betenbaugh was born in Union, January 18, 1941, a son of the late Charlie Norman Betenbaugh, Sr. and Margaret Parks Betenbaugh. He worked as a maintenance technician and was a very skilled carpenter volunteering his time to whomever needed his help. Mr. Betenbaugh was an active member of Buffalo Baptist Church where he served as an Usher and a Deacon, a member of the Maintenance Committee and the Food Ministry. He was a member of the Buffalo Hunt Club and the Union County Disaster Relief team.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Lynn Marsh of Union; two sons, Scott Farmer and wife Donna of Pauline and Kevin Farmer and wife Jaime of Wellford; a daughter-in-law, Dava Betenbaugh of Taylors; a sister, Joyce Carson and husband Bruce of Campobello; and a brother, Bob Betenbaugh and wife Pat of Union. He is also survived by grandchildren: Joni Gray (Will), Jana Easler (Caden), Morgan Harris (Cy), Haley Farmer (Jacob), Brock Betenbaugh (Katie), Bryn Betenbaugh, Brooks David Betenbaugh (Brooklyn), Kacie Marsh and Brooke Marsh; great-grandchildren, Teally Rein Gray, MareKapers Gray, Silas Easler, Addyson Marsh, Karter Marsh, Ronnie Marsh, and Jackson Marsh and many special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Donnie Betenbaugh; a sister, Helen Sue Lawson, and two brothers, Charlie Betenbaugh and Carl Roper Betenbaugh.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, June 16, 2025 at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Doug Estes. Visitation will be held Monday from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at the church prior to the services. Private burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Richie Brown, Doug Johnson, Ben Wages, Roger Bishop, John Young and Mark Haney. Honorary pallbearers will be special friends.
