Donald P. Crisp

Mr. Donald Pendleton Crisp, age 89, husband of Emma Jean Osborne O'Shields Crisp of Aiken, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Aiken Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Crisp was born in Dorsey, NC, April 4, 1933, a son of the late Harry and Hettie Buckner Crisp. A native of Union Co., Mr. Crisp was retired from the W.R. Grace Corp and was a veteran of the US Navy. In his retirement, Donnie enjoyed golfing, fishing, vacationing, and working in the yard. He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two step-daughters, Myra Kelly and husband Don, and Sheila Mitchell and husband Frank all of Aiken; five step grandchildren, Gina Booth (Josh), Chad Kelly (Sophie), Mackie Walker (Katie), Erin Bigham (Pete), and Sarah Beech (Adam); and eight step great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Vicki Morgan and husband Bruce and JW Crisp and wife Jackie of Union. He was predeceased by three brothers, Sam Crisp, Thomas Crisp and Ralph Woodward, Sr.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Richard Swift.
