Donald Leon Dover, Great Falls, Sc Jr.

Mr. Donald Leon "Junior" Dover, Jr., age 56 of 1540 Hinton Rd., Great Falls, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. Mr. Dover was born in Union, SC September 10, 1958, a son of Doris Haney Dover of Union and the late Donald Leon Dover, Sr. He was formerly employed with Laurens Electric and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving in addition to his mother are two sisters, Phyllis Smith and husband Donald of Union and Penny Lawson of Sharon; a niece, Shelley Smith of Union and two special friends, Pam Thomas of the home and Anita Pettit of Philadelphia. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Merritt Wentz and Rev. Michael McGowan. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to Donald Leon Dover, Jr. Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of his mother, Doris Dover, 629 Rice Avenue Ext. Apt B1, West End Manor, Union.
