Donald Hodge Jonesville, Sc

Mr. Donald Clayton Hodge, Sr. age 81, husband of Ruby Blackwell Hodge of 180 Robinson Farm Road, Jonesville, went home to with the Lord Monday, November 10, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hodge was born in Union, SC July 12, 1933, a son of the late Hoyle J. Hodge and Evelyn Rodgers Hodge. He was a retired textile worker and was a Veteran of the South Carolina National Guard - Jonesville Unit. Mr. Hodge was a member of Gilead Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. Surviving in addition to his wife of sixty-two years are a son, Clay Hodge of Jonesville. Mr. Hodge was predeceased by an infant daughter, Donna Lisa Hodge and a brother, William "Bill" Hodge. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dr. Jim Ivey. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 38, Jonesville, SC 29353. The family is at the home, 180 Robinson Farm Rd., Jonesville.
