Donald Wilburn Lowe

Mr. Donald Wilburn Lowe, age 71, of 201 Bryant Rd., Pacolet, passed away, Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Lowe was born July 9, 1947 in Transylvania, NC, a son of the late Lun Lowe and Alma Chappell Lowe. He was retired from Milliken & Co-Cedar Hill Plant. Mr. Lowe was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He attended Spinedale Holiness Church in North Carolina. Surviving are a daughter, Donna Boatwright and husband Donnie of Pauline; four sons, Donald Wayne Lowe and wife Silvia of Pauline; Rodney Lowe and wife Se-Dne of Union, Paul Wolfe and wife Barbara of Pauline, and David Wolfe and wife Phyllis of Atlanta; one sister Joyce Brown and husband Rev. Leon Brown of Rutherford; his fiancée, Carolyn Byrd of Pacolet; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and Bubba and Dusty Byrd. He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the services at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 6675-8517. The family is at their respective homes.
