Donald L. Rogers

Mr. Donald Lewis Rogers, age 85, formerly of Pacolet, widower of Iris Moore Rogers, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Magnolia Manor in Inman.

Mr. Rogers was born in Spartanburg, April 6, 1938, a son of the late Lewis Glenn Rogers and Betty Elizabeth Green Rogers. He was a graduate of Pacolet High School and was formerly employed in maintenance at White Oak Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Rogers was a veteran of the US Army and the SC National Guard. He was a member of Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church of Pacolet Mills.

Surviving are a grandson, Christopher Rogers of Pauline; two brothers, Allen Rogers of Pacolet and Richard Rogers and wife Judy of Spartanburg; and a number of nieces and nephews including David Rogers and Dustin Rogers. He was predeceased by a sister, Glenda Congelton.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Pacolet Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Brian Humphries.

The family will be at their respective homes.
