Donna Jean Mease Youngblood

Mrs. Donna Jean Mease Youngblood, age 86, of 646 Vernon Foster Rd., Jonesville, passed away, Friday, July 1, 2016 at Union Medical Center. Mrs. Youngblood was born in Canton, NC on June 24, 1930 a daughter of the late Leaton Mease and Amy Henson Mease. She was retired from United Merchants Union Mill. Surviving are two sons, Jim Youngblood and wife Debbie of Woodruff and Steve Youngblood and wife Kathy of Buffalo; seven grandchildren, Scarlett Y. Alexander of Union, Rock Youngblood of Union, Danielle Youngblood of Hartsville, Tara Youngblood of Duncan, Marcia Y. Johnson of Simpsonville, Melissa Y. Lawson of Jonesville and Crystal Y. Smith of Buffalo; six great-grandchildren, Logan Alexander, Justin Hall, Samantha Hall, Brannon Johnson, Samantha Hindman, and Dylan Smith; one great-great-grandchild, Ansley Clayton; four sisters, Nina Austin of Buffalo, Pauline Sanders and Loretta Patrick both of Union and Jaynelle Davis of Inman; one brother, R. L. Mease of Florida; and a number nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, David Ralph Youngblood and three sisters, Emma Lee Inman, Berlyn Head, and Nadine McCall. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 3, 2016 at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Dr. Jim Ivey. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at their respective homes.
