Donna Hughes Mitchell

Ms. Donna Hughes Mitchell, age 66, of 818 Tuckertown Rd., Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Ms. Mitchell was born in Union, March 10, 1960, the daughter of the late James Cary Hughes and Elizabeth Laxton Hughes. She was a graduate of Union High School and was employed with Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing for 20 years. Ms. Mitchell was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, James Eric DePratter and Tyler Mitchell both of Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Salem Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Roger Shufford. Burial will follow at Kelly’s Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the services.

The family will be at the home, 818 Tuckertown Rd., Carlisle.
