Donna McMurtury Norton

Mrs. Donna McMurtury Norton, age 58, of 1773 Old Newberry Hwy., Whitmire, SC, passed away, Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Mrs. Norton was born October 30, 1967, in Newberry, SC, a daughter of the late Alvin Lawrence McMurtury, Sr. and Willie Jones McMurtury. She was a member of Healing Springs Baptist Church, and her loves were gardening and cooking.

Mrs. Norton is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Norton, daughters, Tiffany Norton and Amy Norton, all of Whitmire and another daughter, Donna J. Norton of Monarch. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Chance Guinn, Xavier Nobles, Trenton Proctor and Lettie Proctor and brothers, Alvin Lawrence McMurtury, Jr and his wife, Terri and Mark McMurtury and his wife, Barbara. Mrs. Norton was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Hope Norton .
