Donnie Brown

Mr. James Donald "Donnie" Brown, age 47, husband of Teri Lardizabal of Hobbs NM, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday November 1, 2023 at Covenant Medical Center, in Lubbock, Texas surrounded by his family.

Mr. Brown was born in Union, December 16, 1975, a son of Kanice Vance Brown and the late James "Jabo" Brown. He was a graduate of Union High School. He was an avid fisherman and a retired heavy machine operator and truck driver. Mr. Brown was a loving husband, daddy and a full-time papa.

Surviving in addition to his wife of twenty years, are two daughters Deira and Jirha, all of the home; his mother Kanice Vance Brown of Union; a sister Kelsey Sanders (Codey) of Buffalo; his grandmother, Gwen Baillie of Florida. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Quinton, Lovelyn, Maria and Ezekiel and various aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Sarah Gregory Brown and grandfather, James Wesley Brown Sr. and grandfather, Robert Byron Vance Jr.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Covenant Medical Center for his end of life care.

A celebration of life service will be scheduled by the family for a later date.
