Doris Ann Painter Hogan

January 17, 2018 Mrs. Doris Ann Painter Hogan, age 65, wife of Paul William "Bill" Hogan of 1202 Kelly Rd., Union, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Hogan was born in Charlotte, NC on December 26, 1952 a daughter of the late Walter Woodrow Painter and Edna Earl Pace Painter. She was a member of Jonesville Church of God. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Dale William Hogan of Jonesville and Paul Woodrow "Buddy" Hogan and wife April of Union; two sisters Pearl Gray of Union and Iris Liles of Kannapolis, NC; three brothers, Charles Painter, Dennis Painter and Gilbert Painter all of Kannapolis, NC; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister Barbara Kelloge. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 19, 2018 at Jonesville Church of God conducted by the Rev. Roger Byrd. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Friday prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be made to the Doris Hogan Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of her sister, Pearl Gray, 824 Beltline Road, Union, SC 29379.
