Dorothy Frances Cain Sinclair

Mrs. Dorothy Frances Cain Sinclair, age 88, of 222 S. Boyce St., Union, widow of Earl Sinclair, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Sinclair was born July 29, 1929 in Seneca, a daughter of the late Elijah Wilkes Cain and Annie Carol Cain. She was retired from Milliken & Co.-Monarch Plant. Mrs. Sinclair was of the Baptist Faith. She was the last surviving member Surviving are three daughters, Judy Sanford of Buffalo, Shirley Robinson and husband Roger of the home, and Candy Canupp and husband Randy of Union; two sons, James Sinclair and wife Joyce of Buffalo and David Sinclair and wife Tracy of Jonesville; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; a special daughter-in-law, Pam Sinclair of Union; and a special grandson, Finley Robinson. She was predeceased by a son, Wayne Sinclair; a son-in-law, James Sanford; two brothers, and seven sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 20, 2018 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Melvin Shelton and Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will follow at Brown's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Earl Sinclair, Scottie Smith, Jeff Sinclair, Matt Robinson, Mark Robinson, and Robbie Sumner. Honorary pallbearers will be Ruby Richards, the nurses and staff of MSA Hospice, Robert Sumner, and the neighbors of Woodlawn Manor Apartments. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tracy Lancaster Robinson for her love and care of Mrs. Sinclair during her illness. Memorials may be made to MSA Hospice, 720 S.
