February 10, 2019 Mrs. Dorothy Owensby "Dot" Crocker, age 83 of 201 Westville Street, Buffalo, widow of Leroy Crocker, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Crocker was born in Union, SC April 11, 1935, a daughter of the late Grady D. Owensby and Flora Cope Owensby. She was a faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church where she was a member of the Senior Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Crocker of the home; two sons: Ernest Crocker and wife Cindy of Union and Todd Pridemore and wife Dawn of Missouri; four grandchildren: Lindsey Crocker of Newberry, Brittany P. Kelly of Spartanburg, Marla Pridemore and Josh Pridemore both of Union; great-grandchildren: David, Breyona, and Eli Johnson of Union and Nevaeh and Craig Crocker of Union. Mrs. Crocker was predeceased by a grandson, Michael Crocker, three sisters, Alice Harris, Mary Sue Bailey and Florence Gist and brothers, Roy, Johnny, Clarence, Grady and Fred Owensby. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, February 11, 2019 at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tim Anderson. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens. The following are asked to sit in a group: Bruce and Linda Betenbaugh, Charolette Ochiltree Sherry Kendrick, Doug and Gail Johnson and members of the Senior Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 PM Monday in the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Buffalo Baptist Church, P.O. Box 428, Buffalo, SC 29321. The family is at the home of her son, Ernest and Cindy Crocker, 617 Bailey Rd., Union, SC 29379.
