Mrs. Dorothy Martin Millwood, age 86, widow of William W. Millwood of Chester, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.
Mrs. Millwood was born in Union, January 1, 1940, a daughter of the late Clarence and Lucille Greene Martin. She retired from Milliken Co., Lockhart Plant after 35 years and also worked as a caregiver with home health. A faithful member of Wilksburg Baptist Church, she was a member of the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class. She was affectionally known as “Nanny Dot” and loved everyone she encountered.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl McCollum and husband Greg of Chester and Susie McCutcheon and husband Paul of Union; and five grandchildren, Brad McCollum and wife Lisa of Myrtle Beach, Kristin Mitchell and husband Allen, Adam Parkins and wife Leah, Jonah McCutcheon and wife Carlee and Noah McCutcheon all of Union. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Sophia, Phin, and Millie McCollum, Trey and Niya Mitchell and Beckett Parkins. She was predeceased by a son Robbie Allen, a great-grandson, Alex Mitchell, a sister, Shirley Martin Stamey, and three brothers, Junior, Dean and Dub Martin.
The family would like to say a special Thank You to Spartanburg Regional Hospice and Ellen Sagar Nursing Home for their devoted care given to Mrs. Millwood.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Wilksburg Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Hutch Hutchins and Rev. Skeet Thomas. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the church prior to the services.
Active pallbearers will be Noah McCutcheon, Tommy McCollum, Frances Ramsey, Taylor Thomas, Joey Stamey and Tony Stamey.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Cheryl and Greg McCollum, 3587 Mt. Pleasant Church Rd., Chester, SC 29706.
