Dorothy Hill Robinson

April 3, 2020 Mrs. Dorothy Hill Robinson, age 95, of 1817 Jonesville Highway, Union, widow of Marion Robinson went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 3, 2020 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center. Mrs. Robinson was born February 28, 1925 in Union, a daughter of the late John Henry Hill and Sallie Trammel Hill Vincent. She was retired from United Merchants and Manufacturing-Union Plant. Mrs. Robinson was of the Baptist Faith, having been a member of Ottaray Baptist Church. She was first married to the late Odis Ashe. Mrs. Robinson was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are two sons, Wayne Ashe of Chester and Rev. Dr. John T. Robinson and wife Martha of Augusta, GA; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Due to the current health crisis, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by her son Rev. Dr. John T. Robinson. Friends are invited to pay their respects to Mrs. Robinson at Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Augusta Lighthouse Ministries (ALMS), 1824 Cottonwood Dr., Augusta, GA 30906.
