Dorothy Elaine Waldrop Crocker

May 30, 2017 Mrs. Dorothy Elaine Waldrop Crocker, age 64, wife of Danny R. Crocker, Sr., of 236 Deepwater Rd., Union, passed away, Monday, May 29, 2017 at Mary Black Hospital. Mrs. Crocker was born in Union, SC February 4, 1953 a daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Waldrop, Sr. and Mildred Browning Waldrop. She was retired as an associate from Belk. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Danny Ray Crocker, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Enoree; three grandchildren, Tori Danielle Crocker of Woodruff, Danny Ray "Tripp" Crocker, III of the home, and Eli Michael Crocker of Enoree; one great-grandson, Logan Chase Guffey of Woodruff; two brothers, Robert Waldrop of Buffalo and Danny Richard Waldrop of Union; five sister-in-laws, Dianne Turner and husband Michael, Delores Adams, Joan Miller and husband Bruce, Aileen Roberts and husband Larry, and Lisa Crocker; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Woodrow Wilson Waldrop, Jr. and Terry Allen Waldrop and her father and mother-in-law, Albert and Mildred Crocker. Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Sardis United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Jeff Farmer. Active pallbearers will be Chris Kirby, Russell Guffey, Jr., Taylor Rhame, Noah Rhame, Jerry Willard, Jr., Brandon Rhame, and Chris Wilbanks. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of Mary Black Hospital.
