Douglas Robert White Sr.

Mr. Douglas Robert White, Sr., age 91, of Carlisle, South Carolina, widower of Dorethea Walton White passed away on January 23, 2025 at his home.  He was born February 11, 1933, in Australia but came to the United States at the age of 13.  He was the son of the late Stella Maude Meteyard White.

Mr. White is survived by a daughter, Debra White Sumner of the home and a son, Douglas Robert White, Jr and his wife, Pamela, of Carlisle. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Tara Micki Sumner. Mr. White was predeceased by a daughter, Doris W Dantzler, a grandson, Lance Vaughn and a granddaughter, Leslie Vaughn

The family will hold a small remembrance at the Mausoleum at Union Memorial Gardens, Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
