Doyle ‘Dale’ Coile

Mr. Doyle "Dale" Coile, age 83 of Mill Spring, NC, formerly of Union, husband of Brenda Coile, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his home. Mr. Coile was born in Danielsville, GA, March 9, 1934 a son of the late Hoke and Jesse Booth Coile. He was retired from Wallace Thomson Hospital where he worked in the maintenance department. He was also an accomplished carpenter and taught shop at Union Vocational School. Mr. Coile was a veteran of the US Army and was a POW during the Korean War. He was a member of Silver Spring Baptist Church in Mill Spring, NC. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Teresa C. Yount and husband Rick of Chesnee; a sister, Billy Jo Richards of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Thurman Coile of Dade City, FL, Russell Coile of Danielsville, GA, and Donald Coile of Columbus, GA; four grandchildren, Ryan Yount of Chesnee, Brittany Smith of Boiling Springs, Derrick Coile of Union and Regan Jackson of Mill Spring, NC; two great-grandchildren, Eli Stroman and Ashlyn Smith both of Boiling Springs. Mr. Coile was predeceased by a son, Allen Coile and a granddaughter, Ashley Coile, one sister and two brothers. Private services will be scheduled by the family. The family will be at the home of his daughter, Teresa C. Yount, 67 Dorchester Dr., Chesnee, SC 29323.
