Dr. Wallace Harold Privette

Dr. Wallace Harold Privette, Jr., age 67, of 247 Williford Rd, Union passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026 in Spartanburg, SC.

Dr. Privette was born in Monterey, CA on September 26, 1958 a son of the late Wallace Harold Privette, Sr. and Mildred Speckman Privette. He was a 1997 graduate of Sherman Chiropractic College and a member of the American Chiropractic Association.

Affectionately known as “Doc”, “Doctor Harold” or "Dr. P" to his patients, Dr. Privette has served the Union and Spartanburg communities since 1997 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. For many years he had clinic locations in Union and Spartanburg and would split his day between the two locations before settling in on Medical Sciences Drive in Union serving patients at Privette Family Chiropractic. Dr. Privette took pride in his 29 years of service to the community and constantly strived to help others. He also felt a special calling to help injured animals to live their best lives.

In his free time, Dr. Privette enjoyed dirt bike racing with his team, Privette Santuc Wrecking Crew, on the Mid East and NCHSA circuits. He has achieved many first, second and third place finishes over the years. He was most recently named the 2025 2 Stroke B Heavy Grand Champion for the Mid East Hare Scramble Series.

Dr. Privette is survived by a son, Jonathan Harold Privette and grandson, Kayden Mathew Privette of Waynesboro, GA as well as hundreds of loyal patients who ultimately became like family over the years. Receiving of friends will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. in the chapel at Holcombe Funeral Home, 310 W. South Street, Union, SC.
