Edward Franklin Harvey

Mr. Edward Franklin Harvey, age 88, 660 Riley Rd., Buffalo, widower of Olivia Fleming Harvey, passed away, Friday, October 29, 2021, at Heartland of Union.

Mr. Harvey was born November 10, 1932, in Spartanburg, a son of the late George Thomas Harvey and Gladys Gossett Harvey.  He was retired from Blackman Mueller.  Mr. Harvey was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard.  He was a member of Buffalo United Methodist Church.  Mr. Harvey was a very loving and special person.

Surviving are a sister, Joyce Crocker and husband Cecil of Spartanburg; a brother, Leon Harvey and wife Teresa of Pacolet; a cousin, Stacie Briggs and husband John of Buffalo; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Billy Liner of Buffalo.  He was predeceased by his only son, Michael "Mike" Harvey who he adored and loved so very much.  He was also predeceased by three brothers, Joe Harvey, Kenneth Harvey, and George Thomas "Junior" Harvey, Jr.; and a sister, Rosemary Gossett.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Jeff Farmer.  Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery.
