Elaine Floyd

Mrs. Claudia Elaine Floyd, age 71, of 108 Haile Street, Jonesville, widow of William C. Floyd, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Union Medical Center.

Mrs. Floyd was born August 11, 1949, in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Claude Jennings and Corie Jennings.  She was a 1968 graduate of Pacolet High School.  Mrs. Floyd was employed with the Union County News for 12 years and had previously worked at the Union Daily Times for over 20 years.  She was a faithful member of Jonesville Baptist Church, where she was active in the Widow's Club, Choir, WMU, the Claudia Coleman Sunday School Class, and Happy Hearts.

Surviving are two children, Kelli Floyd and Chuck Floyd both of the home; a sister, Rita Morris of Boiling Springs; and a brother, Harold Dean Jennings of Boiling Springs. She was predeceased by a sister, Glenda Jennings.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, June 11, 2021, at Jonesville Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Scott Cannon.  Visitation will be immediately following the services at the Cemetery.
