Elaine M. Wilson

Mrs. Elaine Moss Wilson, age 71, widow of Stephen Allen "Chigger" Wilson of 138 Lybrand St., Jonesville, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Wilson was born in Union, April 28, 1945, a daughter of the late Jesse Ray Moss and Maggie Hawkins Moss. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and Spartanburg Technical College. Mrs. Wilson was a retired sales associate with Wal-Mart and had previously worked with Belk Dept. Store and was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Stephanie Smith of Buffalo; two grandchildren, Megan Smith of Buffalo and Morgan Smith of Spartanburg; a great-grandson, Gabriel Brent "Trey" Lawson, III of Spartanburg and a host of other loving family members. Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by a sister, Anita Hayes. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Scott Cannon. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the services. Memorials may be to the Elaine M. Wilson Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Stephanie Smith, 2113 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo.
