Elbert Stone Felder

Mr. Elbert Stone Felder, age 69 husband of Karen English Felder passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Mr. Felder was born in Union, SC on February 9, 1947 a son of the late Duncan Stokes Felder and Mary Allen Stone Felder. He was a graduate of Union High School and Wofford College. Mr. Felder retired from the State of South Carolina and was a former member of the South Carolina National Guard. He was a lifelong member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are a step daughter, Michelle Yeargin and husband Blandon of Chesnee; two sisters, Susan Godshall and husband Ed of Atlanta and Mary Connor Felder of Simpsonville; three grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and a beloved pet dog, Bristol. He was predeceased by a brother, Duncan Stokes Felder, Jr. and an uncle Elbert W. Stone. Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Jeremy Johns.
