Elizabeth Gail Blalock

March 27, 2019 Mrs. Elizabeth Gail Blalock, age 66, wife of Herman Blalock of 213 Fourth St., Union, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Blalock was born December 12, 1952 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late William "Bill" Cauthen and Vader Harris Cauthen. She was retired from Sonoco Products and was a member of Ottaray Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Vanessa Gail B. Farr and husband Richard, Amanda B. Gregory, and Julie Blalock and Kennedy Garrett all of Union; two sisters, Ann Cauthen and Pam Cauthen both of Lancaster; a brother, Charles Cauthen of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, Kayla Farr, Chelsey Farr, "Bubba" Farr, Rebecca Gregory, Katey Gregory, Spencer Gregory, and Paige White; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2019 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Ricky Cook. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Tim Blalock, Kennedy Garrett, John Gossett, Spencer Gregory, Richard Farr, and Randall Wright. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at the home, 213 Fourth St., Union, SC 29379.
