Elizabeth M. Davis

Mrs. Elizabeth McDonald "Betty" Davis, age 91, widow of William B. Davis, of Union, passed away peacefully Friday, December 27, 2024 at Union Post Acute.

Mrs. Davis was born Jan. 22, 1933 in Richmond County, NC, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William C. McDonald. She was retired from the Union County School District where she taught music for many years and was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church. She experienced many tragedies in her life; however, her faith and love of God always remained strong.

She was predeceased by three sons: Robert Davis, David Davis, and Sandy Davis.

Aunt Betty is survived by several nieces and a nephew, and her cousins.

Arrangements will be announced on a later date.

The family wishes to say a special "thank you" to the staff at Union Post Acute for the care given to Mrs. Davis during her illness.
