Elizabeth Faye Miller

Mrs. Elizabeth Faye Miller, age 88 of 118 N. 1st Street, Lockhart, widow of Berry Lee Miller, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 ast her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Miller was born in Cowpens, January 5, 1926, and was a member of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons: Bruce Miller and wife Joan and Clifton Miller all of the home; two sisters: Hazel Mae Fowler and husband Sonny and Gayle Turner; a brother, Harold "Bud" Cookson and wife Carol; seven grandchildren: Rachelle Keenon, Donna Keenan, Lee Miller, Beth Miller, Brad Miller, Wendy Miller and Tina Fowler and husband Pat; twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Miller was predeceased by a son, Don Miller; three sisters: Irene Rash, Betty Tice and Lavadar Gaston and two brothers, Talmadge Deal and James Deal Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Robert Branch. Burial will be in Lockhart Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dylan Fowler, J.P. Fowler, Jared Lindler, Zach Lindler, Andrew Boone, J.J. Boone and Lance Keenan. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday evening at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church. The family would like to say a special "thank you" to the nurses and staff of Hospice Care of SC and Blue Ridge Hospice for their care and concern of Mrs. Miller during her illness. The family is at the home, 118 N. 1st Street, Lockhart.
