Elsie B. Eller

Mrs. Elsie Brewington Eller, age 86, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 1, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach, FL. Born in Union, she was the eldest, only daughter and last living child born to the late Samuel Allen Gregory and Mamie Lou Netherton. Mrs. Brewington Eller had made Union her lifelong home until moving to Fernandina Beach to be with her daughter in early 2015. She had worked for many years in the Cotton and Clothing manufacturing mills in Union before retiring. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands, Guy Brewington, Jr. who passed away in 1993 and Benjamin Eller who passed away in 2015. Mrs. Brewington Eller leaves behind, her son, Richard Thomas "Tommy" Brewington and his wife, Pat, Union, her daughter, Faye Brewington Colson, Fernandina Beach, FL, three grandchildren, Rhonda Miller, Lisa Gatliff (Steve) and Todd Brewington, all of Union, great-grandchildren, Kayla Fowler, Thomas Miller, Cole Miller, Gage Brewington and Stone Gatliff as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Brown's Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. John Lee. Burial will following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 8:30 PM Friday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
