Eric Whitener

Mr. Thomas Eric Whitener, age 57 of Balsam Dr., Greenville, formerly of Union, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Whitener was born in Union, December 19, 1966, a son of Andrea Trantham Whitener and the late Paul William Whitener. He attended Union High School and was a member of Duncan Acres United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother, Allen Whitener and wife Carol of Union; a niece, Kristin Whitener of Inman; an aunt, Bobbie Barber of Lockhart; an uncle Shep Whitener and wife Debbie of Charlotte, NC and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by an infant son, Brett.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 15, 2024 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Merritt Wentz. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.
