Ernest Clifford Crocker, age 68, husband of Cindy Crocker of 617 Bailey Road, Union went to be home with the Lord on Friday June 6, 2025

Ernest was born June 12, 1956 in Union County, the son of late Lee Roy Crocker and the late Dorothy Owensby Crocker. He attended Union County Schools and retired from V.C. Summer Nuclear Plant after 43 years. He was currently working for Union County at Kelly Kelton Recycling Center. Ernest was a member of Buffalo Fire Department for 45 years, serving as Chief for 16 years and currently was serving as Chairman of the Board. He loved serving his community and helping his fellow man. He was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 41 years is a daughter, Lindsey Crocker of Union. A sister, Linda Crocker of Buffalo. Grandchildren, Madison Woods, David Johnson, Nevaeh Breakfield and Breyona Johnson, Craig Crocker and Eli Johnson. Great granddaughter Kamryn Genobles. He was predeceased by his son, Michael Lee Crocker.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tim Anderson. Burial with Fireman Honors will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be Kenneth Proctor, Jarred Gardin, Les Gibson, Bobby Pollander, Michael Third Henderson and TJ Calicutt.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 until 3:00PM at the church prior to the services.
