Evans Goodwin Wilson

Mr. Evans Goodwin Wilson, age 86 of 257 Wilson Road, Union, widow of Sue Rogers Wilson, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at home.

Mr. Wilson was born in Union, May 16, 1936, the son of the late Albert Wallace Wilson and Sarah Koon Wilson. He attended Union County Schools, was a farmer and retired from Conso in Union as a fixer. Mr. Wilson was a member Fairview Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna Solesbee and husband Dennis of Union; a sister, Edith Faucett of Aiken and two brothers, George Wilson, wife Karen of Moore and Charles Wilson, wife Karen of Greenwood. Mr. Wilson was also survived by 6 grandchildren. Granddaughters are Ashley and Sarah Wilson, Brooke Smith husband Kyle, Deidre Foster husband Michael, and Heather Wilson. He is also survived by grandson Kylie Nance. Mr. Wilson is also survived by great grandson Evan Smith. He was predeceased by sons Michael Evans Wison and Ricky Goodwin Wison. Also predeceased are sisters Elizabeth Bobo, Jane Bobo, Ann Crawford and brothers Albert Wallace Wilson Jr, Sam Wilson and Ernest Wilson.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 14, 2022 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Brad Goodale. Visitation will be after the service.

The family will be at the home, 257 Wilson Road, Union.
