Evelyn B. Connelly

February 26, 2019 Mrs. Evelyn Bernice Wilburn Connelly, age 96, widow of Leo Connelly, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at NHC-Clinton. Mrs. Connelly was born in Del Reo, TN, September 27, 1922, a daughter of Austin John Wilburn and Stella Baker Wilburn. She was a graduate of Clinton High School and retired as a secretary with the A.B. Dick Co., in Chicago, IL. Mrs. Connelly was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Union and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by two nieces, Sylvia Kernells of Clinton and Edna J. Smoak of Laurens. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Bill Bryson.
