Faye H. Henderson Union, Sc

Mrs. Faye Haney Henderson, age 72, wife of Ken Henderson of 417 Pineneedle Rd., Union, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014. Mrs. Henderson was born in Clyde, NC, December 6, 1941 a daughter of the late Walter and Madie Ghorley Haney. She was retired from Spartan Mills, Rosemont Plant in Jonesville. Mrs. Henderson was a member of Putman Baptist Church where she was a member of the Annie Kingsmore Sunday School Class and a former member of the choir. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Mark Henderson and wife Peggy of Buffalo and Jeff Henderson and wife Rose of Bull's Gap TN; two sisters, Judy Petty of Buffalo and Nancy Solesbee of Thomson, GA; one brother, Ricky Haney of Buffalo; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and her best friend and caregivers, Elaine Sinclair, Patty Gault and Stacy Hood. Mrs. Henderson was predeceased by three brothers, Eugene Haney, Alfred Haney and Danny Ray Haney, and one sister, Carolyn Haney. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Monday, June 30, 2014 at Putman Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Rick Henderson and Rev. Donald Tillman. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Tommy Petty, Allen Petty, Aaron Petty, Matthew Haney, Harold Wells and Rick Hood. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday evening at Putman Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Putman Baptist Church Building or Cemetery Fund, 3692 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo SC 29321. The family will be at the home, 417 Pineneedle Rd., Union.
