Florence A. Mummery

Mrs. Florence Carrie Alwardt Mummery, age 81 of 107 Muriel Dr., Jonesville, SC, widow of Ronald A. Mummery, Sr. passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Mrs. Mummery was born October 22, 1938, a daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth Broadbrooks Alwardt. She was a graduate of Attica High School in Attica, NY and had worked as a Nurse's Aid in Wyoming County Community Hospital for 25 years. Mrs. Mummery spent her life being a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed making crafts, traveling, and gardening. The thing Florence loved most was visiting with friends and loved ones. Surviving are three sons, Ricky A. Mummery and wife Laura of Shenandoah, PA, Ronald A. Mummery, Jr. of Jonesville, SC, and James R. Mummery of Yorkshire, NY; four daughters, Karen Fisher and husband Gerald of Wolcott, NY, Mary Lou Hathaway and husband James of Warsaw, NY, Laura Jean Franklin and husband Ronald of Bliss, NY and Loretta Lynn Walsh and husband Gerald of Pacolet, SC; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date in Warsaw, NY.
