Floyd C Heatherly

Mr. Floyd C. "Stump" Heatherly, age 83 husband of Linda Smith Heatherly of 542 Pea Ridge Hwy., Jonesville, SC went home to be with his Heavenly Father, Saturday, February 5, 2022.

Mr. Heatherly was born in Union, July 16, 1938, a son of the late James Burton Heatherly and Ruby Gist Howell and husband, Bill Howell. He was a dedicated member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church where he served as a Trustee and Assistant Treasurer. Mr. Heatherly was a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class and the "Men's Club" and he dearly loved his church family. He was a loving brother, husband, uncle, and friend to many.

Surviving in addition to his wife of sixty-six years, Linda, are three nieces, Wanda B. Parker and husband Skip of Prosperity, Kathy B. Stone and husband Stephen of Sedalia and Carol S. Whitener and husband Allen of Union; a nephew, Billy Scales and wife Michelle of Greenville; two great-nieces Kristin Whitener of Inman and Savannah Scales of Greenville; a great-nephew, Reid Stone and wife McKayla of Belton and one great-great niece Brynlee Stone.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Melinda Kay Heatherly, a sister, and Betty H. Scales and husband Willie, and a brother, Marvin "Jim" Heatherly and wife Kaye.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2022, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Lee Coyle, Rev. Glenn Ribelen and Pastor Chad Ponder.

Active pallbearers will be Allen Whitener, Stephen Stone, Robbie Littlejohn, Carl Allen, Ken McCraw, Stan Gallman, Kenneth Horne, and Billy Martin.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the church.
