Helen Frances Keisler Kelly of 1461 Jonesville Hwy, Union, passed into Eternal Life on September 19, 2022 at home.

Mrs. Kelly was born in Cross Keys, April 2, 1924, a daughter of the late Russell Keisler and Clara McNease Keisler. She was married to Jack Kelly, Jr. for 64 years before his death in 2005.

Mrs. Kelly worked for Excel Hosiery Mill before her children were born and returned after they were in school.  She worked her way up to management before retiring. Mrs. Kelly was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for 81 years. She was a hard-working person at work and at home, and a very devoted wife and a loving mother of six children.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Frances Kelly Woodall and her husband, Dr. Michael V. Woodall of Columbia; Dr. J. Andrea Kelly of Spartanburg; three sons, Ret. Lt. Col. Thomas Russell Kelly, and his wife, Laurie, of Marshall, Virginia, Jack Kelly, III and his wife Linda, of Union; and Richard McKay Kelly and his fiancée Leigh Ann Walden of Union.   She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Eva Marie Kelly. She has six grandchildren: Michael Vance Woodall, Jr. and his wife, Dawn, Kevin Francis Woodall and his wife, Collin, Dr. Timothy Gerrard Woodall and his wife, Dr. Kristi V. Woodall, Mary Kathleen Woodall Brady, Joel Patrick Kelly, and Richard McKay Kelly, II and his wife, Tracey. She has ten great-grandchildren: Mary Elizabeth Brady, Michael Vance Woodall, III and his wife, Ari, Thaddeus Evan Woodall, Tristin Lea Woodall, Aiden Joseph Woodall, Patrick Damian Woodall, Stephen Bryce Woodall, Spencer Vance Woodall, Mae Hollins Woodall, and Garrison McKay Kelly.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to Mrs. Kelly's caregivers, Debra, Melissa, Pam, Peggy, Paula and Darlene along with the staff and nurses of Cresent Hospice for their care of Mrs. Kelly during her illness.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 26 at 11:00 AM at Grace United Methodist Church by the Reverend Lee Phillips. Visitation will be held in the church Fellowship Hall immediately following the services. Private burial will be at the Union Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the home, 1461 Jonesville Hwy., Union.
