Frances Vaughan Williams

March 27, 2015 Mrs. Frances Vaughan Williams, age 87, wife of Davis Herbert Williams of 2211 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy, Buffalo, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Wallace Thomson Hospital. Mrs. Williams was born in Union, SC February 2, 1928, a daughter of the late C.C. "Clum" Vaughan and Ella Mae Smith Vaughan. She retired from United Merchants in Buffalo and also had worked with Milliken & Co - Monarch Plant. Mrs. Williams was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons: Dennis Gault and wife Patty of Pauline, Larry Gault and wife Pamela, Ronnie Gault and Randy Gault and wife Barbara all of Union; a granddaughter, Ashley Gault, reared in the home and seven other grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Annie Mae McGowan of Lockhart, Nell Malpass and Ann Grady both of Union and a brother, John Henry Vaughan of Union. Mrs. Williams was predeceased by a grandson, Shane Gault and a brother, Bobby Vaughan. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Buddy Hogan. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2:00 -3:00 PM Sunday in the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 187 Neal Shoals Road, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of her son, Ronnie Gault, 500 Richards Street, Union.
