Francis P. Borga, Jr.

Mr. Francis Pavia "Moose" Borga, Jr., age 59, husband of Rhoda Ellen Borga of 125 South St., Buffalo, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 14, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville.

Mr. Borga was born in Cambridge, MD, August 29, 1962, a son of the late Francis P. Borga, Sr. and Margaret Louise Weber Borga. He was a graduate of Cambridge-South Dorchester High School in Cambridge, MD and a 2015 graduate of Virginia College in culinary arts. He previously worked as a chef and was currently employed with Zaxby's of Union. Mr. Borga will be remembered for his infectious smile and laugh.

Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Christopher Borga and wife Roberta of Newport News, VA, Neil Fleming and wife Ashley of Jacksonville, FL and Tim Fleming and wife Jessica of Duncan, SC; a daughter, Kayla Henderson and husband Johnathan of Buffalo, SC; two sisters, Rose Hollis and husband Sidney of Columbia, NC and Marianne Borga of York, PA, and numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by a lifelong friend, Taffie Cannon Stephens, a niece, Brittany Stephens and girlfriend Dakota Lipsey.  He was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Borga.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family will be at the home, 125 South St., Buffalo, SC.
