Frank Stephen Lunsford

October 15, 2018 Mr. Frank Stephen "Steve" Lunsford, age 63, of 509 Monarch Hwy., Union, passed away Sunday October 14, 2018 at his home. Mr. Lunsford was born in Union, June 6, 1955, a son of the late Clyde Lunsford and Alice Beheler O'Shields. He was retired from the textile industry and attended Ottarary Baptist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Nellie Babb Cartee of Monarch and Eliza Bright of Union; one brother, James Leonard Lunsford of Union; a sister-in-law, Barbara Beheler of Monarch; special friends, Larry Edenfield and Bill Montgomery and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Lunsford was predeceased by a brother, Donald Beheler, his maternal grandmother, Nellie Beheler, a nephew, Chris Babb and a special friend, Cat Gregory. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Ottarary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Walter Holcombe. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Earl Tucker, Randy Davis, Jimmy Lunsford, Daniel Edenfield, Tristian Edenfield and Harvey Buchanan. Mr. Lunsford will be carried to the home of his sister, Nellie Babb Cartee, 116 Francis Ave., Monarch, where the family will receive friends.
