Franklin Eugene "Gene" Sanders, Jr.

Mr. Franklin Eugene "Gene" Sanders, Jr., age 75, of 2371 Browns Creek Church Road, Union passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Sanders was born in Union, March 1, 1949, a son of the late Franklin Eugene "Pete" Sanders, Sr. and Madge West Sanders. Gene was a musician and mechanic and a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Sanders (Floyd Jordan) of Lockhart; a son, Chris Sanders of Union; step-daughter, Kristin Williams of Spartanburg; grandsons, Jason Ryan Jordan and Michael Aaron Jordan both of Lockhart; step-grandson, Gabriel Williams and step-granddaughter, Bailey West both of Alabama; a special friend, Debbie Harmon of Union; extended family, Jessie Harmon of Buffalo and Donna Sanders of Alabama. He was predeceased by his infant brother, David Francis Sanders and a stepson, David Edward Williams.
