Mr. Franklin Reese Henderson, age 80, husband of Gladys Ham Henderson of 829 Meansville Rd., Union, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Mr. Henderson was born in Union, May 14, 1936, a son of the late Leonard and Ruby Wix Henderson. He was retired from the textile industry and was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Debbie Workman and husband Dan of Union; three sons, Timothy Wayne Henderson and wife Melody of Georgia, Jeffery Scott Henderson and John Wayne Henderson both of Union; a sister, Lunette Price of Union; two brothers, Jesse "Jet" Henderson and wife Brenda of Union and Laddie Henderson and wife Rachel of Gaffney; grandchildren, Jennifer Westlake, Chris Henderson, Heather Adams, Zach Henderson, Ashley Bright, Allen Bright, Serina Henderson, Scottie Henderson, and Tiffany Henderson; great-grandchildren: Katie Trapp, Colin Trapp, Carley Trapp, Temperance Westlake, Emma Rae Westlake, L.J. Wilson, Aliyah Wilson, Alexis Wright, Kaydence Chadwick, and Trenton Lindsay. Mr. Henderson was predeceased by three brothers, William "Bill" Henderson, Robert "Darling" Henderson and Zackhary "Tack" Henderson. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Minister Raymond Climer and Minister Shannon Ham. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Zach Henderson, Chris Henderson, Allen Bright, Kenny Puckett, Lorenzo Wilson, and Rev. Shannon Ham. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of his daughter, Debbie and Dan Workman, 833 Meansville Rd., Union.
