Fred Griffin

Mr. Fred Griffin, Sr. age 80, of 103 Oak St., Union, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

Mr. Griffin was born August 28, 1944, in Clinton, a son of the late Charles Griffin and the late Ruth Moore Griffin. He was a graduate of Union High School spent most of his work career in insurance sales. Mr. Griffin attended New Life Baptist Church.

Mr. Griffin is survived by his daughter Katie Ford and her husband, Kyle, sons, Fred Griffin, Jr and his wife Christy and Robert Griffin, all of Union. He is also survived by grandchildren, Huston Logan Betenbaugh, Kylyn Ford, Fred Griffin III (Savannah), Brandon Griffin, Hanna Griffin; step grandchildren, Isac Bledsoe, Nick Bledsoe and Kateline Parker and great granddaughter, Adaline Griffin. In addition, Mr. Griffin is survived by a brother Gary Griffin (Tammy Willard) of Union and a sister Phyllis Youngblood (Ray) of Jonesville. He was predeceased by a brother, Roger Griffin.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday June 1, 2025, at New Life Baptist Church, Union, conducted by Rev. Todd Davis and Rev. Shannon Faulkner. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, prior to the service at the church.

The family will be at their respective homes.
