Mr. Furman "Edward" Henderson, age 78, widower of Margie Scales Henderson passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in Gaffney, SC.

Daddy was born November 24, 1946, at home, in Buffalo, SC. He was the fourth child of Ernest V. and Laura Maness Henderson. He had fond memories of his childhood and liked to tell stories of him and his siblings growing up around Buffalo Mill and other areas, "Goat Alley" and "The Flat".

Daddy was called to serve in the US Army in 1965 during Vietnam where he was stationed in Germany and Greece. He said, one of his duties while serving was to drive tanks off moving planes. Before going to basic training, he married our mama, Margie, and they were married for forty-nine years.  Daddy was an avid Clemson fan and Carolina Panthers fan.  He really loved racing, especially NASCAR racing.  He was always looking to see when the race was coming on, what time and what station.

Surviving are four daughters, Kimberly Hagan, Sindy Henderson (Scott), Amy Plexico, Anna  Fallaw (Rocky) and one son, Jonathan  Henderson (Amanda); six grandchildren, Jordan Hagan (Melissa), Nicholas Plexico (Charlie), Ashley Ward (Clay), Dylan Fallaw (Erica), Justin Fallaw and Bennett Henderson; four great-grandchildren, Liam Hagan, Anna Ruby Plexico,  Grayson Ward, Sawyer Hagan and Josh Boulware; sister, Elaine Sinclar (Larry); and numerous nephews and nieces.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Earlene Suttles and three brothers, Gerald Henderson, Kenneth Henderson and Wayne Henderson; also his fur babies, Bandit and Foxy, they gave him so much love and comfort after Mama passing.

Graveside Services with Military Honors will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Union Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev. Dr. Steve Lemons.
