Gary Trammell, Jr.

December 28, 2017 Mr. Gary Trammell, Jr., age 90, of 158 Barnado Rd., Union, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Trammell was born May 11, 1927 in Union a son of the late Gary Trammell, Sr. and Mattie Trammell. He was employed with Inman Mills Enoree - Ramey Plant. Mr. Trammell was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. He was first married to the late Helen M. Trammell. Surviving are one daughter, Vanessa T. Cody and husband Terry with whom he made his home; two sons, Timothy Wayne Trammell and wife Monica G. of Union and Larry Trammell and wife Gayle S. of Enoree; two sisters, Maggie T. Howell of Union and Janice T. Fowler of Jonesville; one brother, Francis Trammell of Jonesville; ten grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter Kathy T. Simmons, two brothers, and three sisters. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Randy Smith. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. The family is at the home, 158 Barnado Rd., Union, SC 29379.
