Gaye Thornton Henry

Mrs. Susan Gaye Thornton Henry, age 60, of 600 Keats Dr., Spartanburg, passed away, Friday, February 5, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Henry was born April 15, 1960 in Union, a daughter of the late Leonard Thornton and Jackie Threatt Thornton.  She was a graduate of Union High School and had previously attended Spartanburg Technical College.  She had a huge heart, loved everyone, and was quick to forgive.

Surviving are two sons, Alan Lancaster and wife Anna of North Carolina and Joseph Lancaster and wife Hope of Roebuck; five grandchildren, Ethan Lancaster, Adam Lancaster, Matthew Lancaster, Hayden Terry, and Aubrey Lyles; two brothers, Jeffrey Thornton of Spartanburg and Ricky Thornton and wife Emily of Union; and a sister, Kathy Berry of Oregon.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at West Springs Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends immediately following the services in the West Springs Baptist Church Community Center.  For those unable to attend, services will be live streamed.
